The Maple Hill Townhome Community is a new construction project on Emory Grove Road in Gaithersburg, MD. This is HFHMM’s first new-construction project since 2008. HFHMM will build 19 townhomes on 2.9 acres of land. Each townhouse will have 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms with a garage on the first level. All homes will be sold to applicants earning less than 60% of the Area Median Income. HFHMM purchased this small, infill property from a private seller in December of 2011 and is currently working with local contractors to get the site developed so that the building can begin. In total, the project will cost about $4.8 million, or approximately $250,000 per unit. Stay tuned for more updates and volunteer opportunities.

HFHMM will partner with local government and other agencies to roll out several new housing products including Home Weatherization, Critical Home Repair and Minor Home Repair.
