United by purpose, our members use their time, talent, and voice to champion affordable housing and support Habitat Metro Maryland’s mission. With diverse backgrounds and shared values, HYP members connect through advocacy, fundraising, and community engagement. Together, we’re driving measurable impact by raising awareness, mobilizing resources, and helping create a future where everyone has a safe, stable place to call home.

Metro Maryland's Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) brings together socially conscious young adults (21-40 years of age) across the DMV to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission: breaking down barriers to affordable homeownership for local families. Through community-building, advocacy, and leadership development, HYP members make a meaningful impact while growing their professional networks and giving back to their community.

Become a Member

HYP Metro Maryland requires a minimum annual contribution of $120. Members may choose to pay their dues on a monthly or annual schedule. 100% of HYP membership dues and money raised through fundraising activities support Habitat Metro Maryland's mission.
