CAP Leak Repair Program

Program Overview

The CAP Leak Repair Program is a partnership between WSSC Water and Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland (HFHMM) designed to assist homeowners already enrolled in WSSC Water’s Customer Assistance Program (CAP). This program focuses specifically on plumbing repairs required to fix leaks that contribute to higher water bills, ensuring safe and efficient water usage.

 

Program Eligibility

To qualify for the CAP Leak Repair Program, homeowners must meet the following criteria: 

  • Reside in Prince George’s County, or Montgomery County, MD. 
  • Be actively enrolled in WSSC Water’s CAP on the date of application. 
  • Own and reside in the property requiring repairs. 
  • Ensure that the property is not under contract or listed for sale. 
     

Important Considerations

  • Only plumbing leaks are covered under this program. Other types of home repairs are not eligible for funding through CAP Leak Repair. 
  • Repairs are geared toward reducing water waste and ensuring proper functionality of plumbing systems
